Sometimes you can be pleasantly surprised.  I don’t post about the underground railroad but I have come across it in my travels specifically in Ohio.  I had not really thought about the Canadian side of this question.  The sign is on Butler Street about a block down from the main road.

This link has some interesting information.

Byrna: So far so good, I am heading east and looking forward to being in territory I visited before. Every once in awhile I come across the underground railroad and more and more Black history unfolds. “Coloured” as they had it labeled. Alan and I visited a historical society in Ohio on our way back from Marietta and they had a room in this house that was very tiny and that is where they would hide the run away slaves. I believe it was Zanesville, Ohio. Finding this was quite interesting to learn about the Canadian experience.
