I do not have a death document. His father was John Butler 1858 to 1927 and mother was Mary Marcella Kennedy or Minnie 1871 to 1958. You give the dates of 1818-1894 for Joseph Herbert Butler however, the name might be another family member. Does he have siblings? I have John Cecil, Edward Leslie, Esmond, Wilfred, Mary Jane, M. Francis Elsie, Merrill and Mary Eileen. Most of this was given to me by a cousin who lives in Ottawa. I am not up on my Butler’s and Kennedy’s my cousin might be more knowledgeable. His grandmother’s sister, Nettie (BUTLER) WEAFER was Cora BUTLER who married John David McDonell in 1896 in Cornwall. Nettie & Cora’s father’s name was Joseph Herbert BUTLER 1818-1894. Some of these same names occur in your list. I would love to hear from you if you feel there is a connection! I do have information on the Butler family of Cornwall.
